From Baltimore to Broadway: An Evening with NYC Actor Brian Michael Hoffman & Friends

Join Baltimore School for the Arts alum Brian Michael Hoffman, with accompanist, Sterling Gray, as he retraces his footsteps “From Baltimore to Broadway,” sharing stories and songs from growing up in the Baltimore community and dinner theater circuit to following his dreams as an actor in New York City and around the world! Brian’s worked on 5 Broadway shows, 3 NBC live-musical events, countless TV and film projects, toured the states and visited regional theatres across the country with shows such as ANNIE, THE WIZARD OF OZ, SOUTH PACIFIC, and MAN OF LA MANCHA, and is most well-known for playing “Horton” in the Off-Broadway Revival of SEUSSICAL. Brian will be joined on stage by the cast of The STAR Centre’s Bonnie & Clyde teen Summer Camp. Sterling Gray – Pianist/Accompanist This is Sterling’s first performance with Havre de Grace Opera House/ Cultural Center. His performance credits include several productions with Dundalk Community Theater, Salem Players, and Arena Players just to name a few. He has been a Musical Director/Pianist for shows such as “The Drowsy Chaperone”, “La Cage Aux Folles”, “9 to 5 – The musical”, “Cinderella”, Once on this Island, and “Chess”. Sterling is also very active as a staff pianist in the musical theater department with the Baltimore School for the Arts. He is also the musical director for “Camp Hippodrome”, a musical theater summer camp for middle school students which is in partnership with the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore, MD. He currently teaches music in the lower school at Glenelg Country School in Ellicott City, Maryland.
