About
Historic Tudor Hall, located in Bel Air, is a fascinating piece of our nation's history as home of Maryland’s famous family of Shakespearean actors, including John Wilkes Booth. By visiting where they walked, lived, played, worked and dreamed you’ll connect to the story of the Maryland Booths who left their mark on America forever. The property and first floor of Tudor Hall will be open to visitors for a tour starting at 1:00 pm followed by a special presentation at 2:00 pm. Join us for just the tour, the presentation or attend both! The presentation of “Too Many Spurs; Too Many Knives. Where Are the Real Ones Used by John Wilkes Booth During the Assassination?” will be given by Jim Garrett, Booth family historian and Lincoln assassination author and speaker. Of note: Please obey the speed limit on Tudor Lane and the Tudor Hall property when visiting. Tickets for those ages 13 and older are $5.00 for the tour and $5.00 for the presentation. Cash only. Proceeds benefit the Junius B. Booth Society (a 501c3 non-profit organization) to sustain its mission of educating the public and supporting the restoration and preservation of Tudor Hall.
