While you’re walking along the Promenade in Havre de Grace, shopping in Downtown Bel Air, or possibly visiting Historic Jerusalem Mill Village, let your golf enthusiast enjoy one of nearly half dozen golf courses around Harford County! Not only does Harford County have golf courses to challenge your skill, Harford is home to a few driving ranges and a virtual golfing experience (XGolf- Bel Air) to perfect your swing, as well! While we’re referring to the kind of golf with the tiny white ball, we have a handful of challenging disc golf courses as well! If you’re an angler (professionally or leisurely), bring your rods and reels along for your trip to Harford County! Harford County sits along the Susquehanna River and is the home to multiple ponds, lakes and streams. Nearly all these locations are suitable for your next catch! Large and small bodies of water in Harford County support an abundance of fish species. These species include hickory shad, alewife herring, white and yellow perch, smallmouth bass, trout, rockfish, snakehead and others. Harford County is also part of Maryland’s Fly Fishing Trail, as Deer Creek offers fly fishers three seasons of three very different fly fishing experiences.
