Mr. Souvlaki

Welcome to Mr. Souvlaki! Founded in 2002 as a small food cart outside of Johns Hopkins Bayview, Mr. Souvlaki has finally become the casual dining restaurant we always dreamed about. ​We are two brothers, George and Paul, 1st generation Greek Americans, who absolutely love our heritage and its delicious food. We’d like to thank our father, Nikita, a chef of more than 30 years, for passing on his love and passion for cooking. Throughout the years we’ve added to our menu and perfected various dishes. In 2017 we ventured into the Mount Vernon Marketplace in hopes of expanding our business. Sadly, in March of 2020 the world changed, and we decided to close our doors. Although we were faced with this challenging situation, we never gave up our dream of opening another location. ​However, as the saying goes, when one door closes another opens. We purchased a new food truck and are able to bring our Authentic Greek cuisine directly to our customers. Most importantly, 2020 brought us to Forest Hill and our new home for Mr. Souvlaki. We hope all of you will come see us and be part of our journey. Not to mention enjoy some amazing Greek Food!
