About
North Harford High School is home to a unique Harford County Public School magnet program. The Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences began in 2010 and graduated its first class in 2014. The program is a partnership between the school system, Harford's agricultural community and the University of Maryland. The North Harford Future Farmers of America (FFA) was so honored when we were asked if we would be interested in making a barn quilt for one of our barns at North Harford High School and join the Barn Quilt Trail in Harford County! Our FFA chapter was grateful to receive a grant from the Flying Geese Quilt Guild to help us pay for the quilt. We designed our Barn Quilt with FFA colors of Corn Gold and National Blue. Then, we added in Maryland state decals in the shape of pigs, tractors, horses, cows, alpacas, sheep, and a barn to showcase all of the components of our programs. Our barn quilt has added the perfect touch to our barn and campus!
