About

Richard's Fish and Crabs (RFC) was established in 2006 when Richard and his son, David, began selling live crabs, soft crabs, raw shrimp, and crabmeat at the old gas station on the corner of Rt.22 and Schucks Road. At the outset, the crabs were sold out of a sea container that had been converted into a refrigerated unit. In 2007, Richard had the building renovated, adding a section which became "The Steam Room." A staff was hired and RFC was on it's way to becoming a successful local seafood market and carry-out crabhouse. RFC has since added a kitchen and is now serving sandwiches, platters, salads, soups, and wings. Richard, who is also the principal owner of The Seafood Stop in Fallston, has been in the seafood business for over 25 years. He got his start selling live crabs off the back of a refrigerated truck on the side of the road in Fallston, which he did until 1999. He and his family moved to Harford County back in 1994 and have been here ever since. Richard's Fish and Crabs is dedicated to supporting local watermen and seafood processors. We are proud to provide our customers with the finest local crabs and seafood available.
