Bomboy’s Home Made Ice Cream 

Bomboy’s has been making candy in Harford County since 1978, but have you ever tried their homemade ice cream? They added homemade ice cream to their menu in 2008 and if you haven’t already tried it, you’re going to want to! Generous portions in a variety of flavors makes for a perfect stop on your trip to Havre de Grace. Located on Market Street across from the original Bomboy’s candy store built over 40 years ago, Bomboy’s Home Made Ice Cream now features a walk-up ordering window for customers’ safety, as well as a full wrap-around porch so that you can enjoy your dessert outside. As if the amazing ice cream wasn’t enough, they also have an adorable cow statue out front that you can snap a photo with! This stop is great for the whole family!

Broom’s Bloom Dairy 

Have you ever tried sweet corn ice cream? At Broom’s Bloom Dairy, a ninth-generation family farm with its own dairy cows, you can step out of your comfort zone with new flavors or enjoy a classic sundae. Come during sunflower season and relax in the outdoor seating area surrounded by beautiful flowers and live music right on the farm. Broom’s Bloom offers 10-12 flavors daily, but has created over 100 different flavors of homemade, old fashioned ice cream. There’s something special about farmland in Harford County and enjoying a day on the dairy farm with the family is only made better by a cone of your favorite flavor! Broom’s Bloom is a county favorite!

Jarrettsville Creamery & Deli 

With so much more farmland covering Jarrettsville than some of the other towns in Harford County like Bel Air or Havre De Grace, Jarrettsville Creamery & Deli feels like a hidden gem! The locals will tell you that their ice cream is not a stop to be missed when visiting town. With 24 different flavors always available, you can create your own cone, cup, sundae, milkshake, or float. It’s worth the trip just for their in-house ice cream, but they also offer custom cakes, sandwiches, and more! They’re all about the kids, so be sure to follow them on social media to find out when the next time your child’s favorite superhero will be in the shop!

Keyes Creamery 

Keyes Creamery earns the title of most creative names with flavors like Cow’s Feet and Goose Feathers! Located in Aberdeen, Keyes Creamery features high-quality, hand-mixed ice cream in a variety of flavors right at the farm. They also offer ice cream cakes and ice cream pies for special events, as well as homemade cheeses. Something else that makes Keyes Creamery special is that all of their cows have been raised and bred right there on the farm! YogaFresh Bel Air 

Craving ice cream, but looking for a healthier option? Harford County has something for everyone and YogaFresh in downtown Bel Air is a great example of that! Instead of ice cream, YogaFresh offers frozen yogurt, vegan-friendly options, gluten-free options, and dairy-free options for healthier alternatives to a classic dessert. YogaFresh also offers smoothies, cold press juices, and smoothie bowls, so you never get bored! Don’t miss this fabulous Harford County favorite!

Arctic Circle

For over 50 years, Arctic Circle has been a landmark in Churchville, MD. It’s also one of the only small businesses in Harford County that sells soft serve ice cream, but don’t brush it off as your typical soft serve stand. This family-owned business and local favorite is famous for their chocolate dipped cones and thick, flavorful milkshakes. Make an entire afternoon out of your visit by playing a game of putt-putt golf right next door before walking over the Arctic Circle to cool down with one of their famous cones.

Scoops Corner Cafe & Deli 

Scoops Corner Cafe & Deli serves delicious cones, shakes, floats, cakes, and sundaes with a side of history! The building that the shop resides in is one of the oldest in Aberdeen and features a beautiful outdoor seating area so that you and your family can enjoy that Aberdeen atmosphere while enjoying some delicious Hershey’s ice cream!
